Welcome message

Welcome back to the AFS Jedi Academy. I am the new master, Jedi Master Jason Skywalker. Unfortunately, the old master Hawk has left the Academy, but has allowed it to be turned over towards me, and I thank him for that. The Jedi Academy is now active again, until further notice. You may choose your destination by clicking on the top bar or the left bar at any time. On the Academy, there are a lot of activity, including the ever-popular AFS Quiz.

For those who do not know... AFS represents a Usenet group called alt.fan.starwars, one of the best newsgroups around. Besides discussing Star Wars, there is occassional roleplaying and the regulars generally associate with a faction (Rebels, Empire, Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, Jedi, etc.)

The Jedi Academy is now bustling again with activity, and new lessons are being taught monthly. I encourage all Jedi to check this page often, as there are new lessons, and activities, and new Jedi who would need apprenticeship. Thank you for your continued patience as I have spent trying to clean up house from months of abuse.

01:02:43 am 05/04/2002: Sorry for the long update, but I have spent a little more time with the quiz. In the meantime, this site will undergo a brief update to make sure that pages and links are working... and the like.
This site probably will not be updated for over a month due to the fact that I'm in a middle of a move overseas (literally)... so, be patient here.

08:59:25 pm 10-06-2001: I took a vacation, and am playing major catch-up. Welcome to the new recruit to the Jedi Academy. Also, there's a new quiz round... May the Force be with you.

2:02 pm 09-05-2001: Oops... the Jedi Master has been running way behind... taking on a lot of projects would do it. I haven't forgotten about the applications, and there are 5 new people on the list. Also, for the first time, a Sith master has signed the guestbook. (new project: get the guestbook working).

12:24 am 07-21-2001: Problems with some colors on the left are now fixed. A compromise though: it's harder to see the color in the window, though. Also, the bottom disclaimer has been changed slightly

11:50 pm 07-14-2001: Yes, the anticipated quiz is back. Click on the quiz button at the top. Also, changed the look a slight bit... take a look. Expect new questions every Sunday between 12am and 4am each Sunday morning (all times are Mountain Daylight time.)

03:19 pm 07-10-2001: A couple changes to the main page: Added a Jedi Mission and Pact link. Also, starting 07-15, I will be starting the quiz again. Stay tuned.

08:41 am 06-27-2001: New Lesson today: Lesson 7: Respect. Also, I've changed Lessons 5 and 6 from "Emotions" to "Acts of a Jedi".

08:34 am 06-27-2001: Notice a slight change in the background or the fonts? That's right: Clean-up day. I finally fixed the problems involving the appearance of the page, and the spelling mistakes on others. If they still exist, let me know of the page, okeyday? :-)

11:52 pm 05-16-2001: Sorry for the lack of updates, but I did add 2 new rebels to the members page. Also, noticed that there are some spelling errors (Thanks Patricia and Allie for bringing it up.) It was copied over, but not run through the spell-check yet. I'm running it through now, and let you know when it's fixed.

11:44 am 05-08-2001: The site is now open to the public, and mostly running. Need to fix some entries in the join/ guestbook page, but it's running to my knowledge. The guestbook is also the Join page... please sign it. :-)

10:51 am 05-07-2001: As with all good things, there has to be a snag. There are 6 lessons so far, however lesson 5 did not get translated because it was missing. I'm waiting word on it, so as soon as I get it, you'll all see it posted then.

09:24 pm 05-05-2001: I have established the site https://jedionafs.tripod.com/index.html as the new site of the Jedi Academy, but most of the links are down. Plase stay tuned, as I finally upgrade all of the site to the new network.
